On November 13, Internet Society announced the plan to sell Public Interest Registry / .ORG to private equity firm Ethos Capital. NTEN launched SaveDotOrg.org in response. NTEN will be joined by Electronic Frontier Foundation, The National Council of Nonprofits, and Internet Society chapter leaders, as well as Jon Nevett from Public Interest Registry, and Erik Brooks and Nora Abusitta from Ethos Capital, on Dec 5 at 12pm (Pacific). Andrew Sullivan from Internet Society has been invited but has not confirmed participation.

You do not need to register with NTEN to participate. We will post access details by 12/4/19 on this event listing. To submit questions in advance, please email savedotorg@nten.org. We cannot promise every question will be answered but will do our best to collect them and surface them on the call. The call will be recorded.
